For five years, I threatened to chase after musky on the fly. Well, I finally started to do it. In about 35 calendar days, I had landed 11 in about 13 outings. Summer - HUGE Smallmouth Bass

Summer fly fishing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan can be incredible. If you study your species, watch your water levels and put time on the water, you can find some giant smallies. It took some time for a lot of species to come around this year. We had high water all year until Late Summer. But once these fish started waking up. We sure found them.
